Do I need an account to use Soplo?
No. You can use Soplo anonymously without signing up. You will see nearby alerts and can report new ones. If you sign in with Apple, you get extras like your history.
What kinds of alerts can I report?
You can report 8 alert types: speed camera, police check, helicopter, traffic, crash, hazard, roadworks and other. One tap picks the type and publishes it instantly.
How long do alerts last?
Alerts expire automatically after 24 hours. When other drivers confirm an alert, it stays up longer so reliable warnings remain visible.
Why does Soplo need my location?
Soplo uses your location to show alerts near you within your configured radius. Without it, we cannot tell which alerts matter to you. Your location is never shared with other users.
How does anonymous reporting work?
Turn on anonymous mode in Settings > Privacy and your reports will not show your identity to others. Internally we use a device identifier only to avoid counting the same report twice.
How do I change my alert radius?
Go to Settings > Zone and move the slider. Soplo is free and covers 1 to 50 km.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Account > Delete account. All your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted, including your profile and history.
How can I check coverage on my route?
Check the map and the age of reports on your route before departure. Community activity varies by area and does not guarantee complete alerts. For international travel, check regional feature availability and local rules before enabling a warning category.
